Training Practice

Kings Lane is proud to be an accredited training practice. As a training practice, fully qualified doctors are attached to our surgery to get further training in becoming a General Practitioner. This doctor, known as a registrar is fully supervised at all times and is encouraged to seek help from the senior doctors when required.

We also provide training for foundation Doctors during their studies. Again they are fully qualified Doctors but are given placements in various aspects of healthcare so they can decide what speciality they wish to progress in.

Occasionally, patients are asked if they will allow their consultations to be recorded. Only discussion will be recorded, examinations will not be recorded. These are an extremely useful educational resource, which are only watched by doctors involved in the training of the registrar. Consent is always sought before hand. We appreciate your cooperation in these consultations.
